The Maricopa Community Colleges Faculty Association (“MCCFA”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members and visitors to its website. Effective August 1, 2012, the following Privacy Policy explains how MCCFA collects, uses, and safeguards your information. Any information you provide will be used only in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • name, college, position
  • contact information including email address
  • demographic information such as zip-code, voting district
  • other information relevant to member surveys and/or offers

Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you may request details regarding the personal information in our system about you.  If you would like a copy of the information please contact us. If you believe that any information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, please notify us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

MCCFA will use the information you provide primarily for internal record-keeping purposes. Because of the special relationship we seek to maintain with our members, MCCFA may also, on occasion, send you emails regarding the association, news, events, products, or other information that we think you may find interesting.  From time to time, MCCFA may also use your information to contact you for research purposes. In such instances, contact may be made by email, phone, fax, or mail. MCCFA will not, under any circumstances, sell or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. MCCFA has no control over the privacy policies or contents of those websites.  Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide while visiting such sites. While no system can provide guaranteed security, we are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Privacy Policy Updates

MCCFA has tried to create a privacy policy that is comprehensive, readable, and thorough. Despite our best efforts, we may find it necessary to revise it. Any changes will be made without prior notice.
